Ace of Clay® 4” Wooden Sculpture Bases are far superior to the traditional, cheap wooden plaques you find at craft stores. Unlike those alternatives, our bases are meticulously crafted to be smooth throughout, with minimal grain or texture after painting. You're creating a beautiful sculpture, so why mount it on anything less than perfect?
Each pack includes four 4 inch bases.
HOLES OR NO HOLES?
We offer our bases with and without two pre-drilled holes. The holes are positioned slightly above the center line of the base to accommodate your figurine’s feet. The holes are big enough to securely hold our 10 gauge armature wire in place, while still allowing it to be removed throughout your sculpting and painting process. The holes do not go completely through the base.

The Super Poker is a professional needle tool designed for precision sculpting in polymer clay and other modeling materials. Made from high-quality stainless steel and measuring 5.9 inches long, it is built for durability, balance, and control during detailed sculpting work.
One end features a super-sharp needle tip for carving fine lines, creating small holes, adding texture, and refining intricate details. The opposite rounded end is ideal for forming larger indents and shaping small areas of clay. The needle tip can also be rolled across the surface to smooth tight areas where larger sculpting tools cannot reach.
The Super Poker features a brushed stainless steel finish with a laser-engraved Ace of Clay logo and includes a protective storage cap.
