Ace of Clay does not and shall not discriminate custom sculpture subject matter on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status.

Non-Accepted Sculpture Subject Matter:

Ace of Clay reserves the right to refuse custom sculpture requests depicting subject matter relating to, implying, or literally representing any form of racism, pornographic or sexually explicit content, illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia, illegal items, items promoting illegal activity, highly regulated items, hate items that promote, support, or glorify hatred, violent items that promote, support, or glorify violence, items offensive to any given religion or religious group, or any items Ace of Clay deems inappropriate or that do not uphold or reflect the integrity of the company.

U.S. Shipping Policy:

*This policy pertains to all orders shipping within the United States.

In stock items purchased from aceofclay.etsy.com or placed via email will ship within 3-5 business days via USPS First Class or USPS Priority.

You will receive a confirmation email once your package has shipped and will include a tracking number.

For address changes after an order has been placed, contact me ASAP with the new address via Etsy Messages or by email to aceofclay@gmail.com.

Orders for in stock items that have been placed with instant payment will be given shipping priority and may ship sooner than 3-5 business days.

Custom orders over $100 will ship on the next business day after completion and the package will be insured with tracking number and signature confirmation. Signature confirmation available upon request.

International Shipping Policy:

*This policy pertains to all orders shipping outside of the United States.

All international orders will ship per the U.S. shipping policy above with the exception of a tracking number and signature confirmation.

In an effort to keep costs low for the buyer, tracking number and signature confirmation are not standard for international shipments. International buyer may request a tracking number and if so, is subject to an additional shipping charge billed separately via PayPal invoice based on the package size and weight per the U.S. Postal Service rates.

In the event that a package does not reach a destination, it will be returned to seller and re-shipped after contacting buyer. Buyer will be responsible for all re-shipping charges via PayPal invoice. If buyer refuses to pay re-shipping fees, the purchase is forfeited and seller will retain and re-list the items. Buyer will have 10 days after the items are retained to reclaim them and pay for re-shipping only.

Seller is not responsible for any lost items. By purchasing an item from overseas, buyer accepts and understand this risk.

Seller will take all necessary measures to ensure items arrive safely. Seller is not responsible for any shipping difficulties that occur as a result of a mis-typed address or information.

 

Returns and Exchanges:

Because each item is handmade from scratch, all items including custom orders are non-refundable and are sold as they are depicted in each listing at aceofclay.etsy.com or per the details discussed during the client consultation.

Seller is not responsible for loss or damage of any items during shipping, damage resulting from misuse of the item, or any misunderstanding of the item description.

If Ace of Clay is at fault for any issues with an item or items, a resolution will be offered or the buyer may ship the item back and a full refund will be issued once the item has been received.

Any modifications or adjustments not a result of damage after the item has been delivered may be requested and additional fees may apply. In this event, the customer is also responsible for shipping costs both ways.

 

Repairs and Damage:

Ace of Clay is not responsible for any damage caused during shipping. In this event, buyer is to contact aceofclay@gmail.com and depending on the value of the item, a claim will be filed with the shipping company or another resolution will be offered.

Although highly unlikely, in the event that an item breaks as a result of faulty production, or other artist related matter outside of the buyers control, FREE repairs are available. To request a free repair of this nature, contact aceofclay@gmail.com.

Breakage that is a result of any misuse, improper handling, or dropping of an item is subject to repair fees and will be quoted based on the extent of the damage and whether or not the sculpture can be repaired. To request a repair of this nature, contact aceofclay@gmail.com.

 

Ordering and Payment Policy:

Full payment is required at the time of purchase for in stock items.

For custom orders over $150, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required when the order is placed.

Customer reserves the right to cancel an order at any time during production no questions asked. However, by doing this the customer forfeits the 50% deposit.

Incomplete sculptures left as a result of a cancellation will be retained for 30 days to allow the customer to change their mind and resume production. If customer chooses to resume, they will be added to the last spot on the commission list and production will resume once the preceding orders have been completed.

Artist reserves the right to complete cancelled commissions and re-sell them. Completion of a cancelled commission may include staying with the initial vision of the client or altering it in any way artist sees fit.

Due to the level of customization on orders, most sculptures cannot be resold therefore no refunds will be granted for any order of any cost or size. It is up to the customer to commit to a commission at the time the order is placed and the 50% deposit has been paid.

If remaining balance is not paid when sculpture is complete, the sculpture will not ship until the next business day after payment has been received.
